This portion of the Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Edmonton's website was created as a collaborative effort by three undergraduate students in the Animal Health Program in partial fulfillment of the requirements of the AN SC 479/499 Integrative Problem Solving course at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This is an experiential learning, interdisciplinary, teamwork-based capstone course required of 4th year students in the Animal Science and Animal Health undergraduate programs under the U of A's Faculty of Agricultural, Life, and Environmental Sciences. This course functions to educate and inspire undergraduate students to consider the many careers available in the agriculture and animal health industry while providing useful information and resources to an industry partner.
We have made every effort to ensure the accuracy, views, and opinions expressed in this web site are those of the authors. This information does not necessarily represent those of the University of Alberta, and any errors or omissions are ours alone.
Our partnership with the Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Edmonton aims to improve the interactions between the public and Edmonton's urban wildlife population. The Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Edmonton has tasked us with providing city-dwellers with useful information regarding Canada geese, coyotes, and corvids as these are the three species that they receive the most concerns about.
